If your spot is on Honest Nibbles
We’re a small GTA crew who eat out, pay our own way and say whether we’d go back. Here’s how that works from your side of the counter.
How we review
How a spot gets reviewed
- We just show up. Visits are unannounced. We order like anyone else and pay the bill.
- Scores come from the food and the room. Taste, consistency and vibe, out of 100. How we score has the details.
- We go back. A score can move after a later visit, up or down, and the review says when we last went.
- Not reviewed yet? Many listings come from OpenStreetMap and simply haven’t had a crew visit. Being listed isn’t a verdict.
Money
What money can’t change
No one can pay for a review, a better score, a place on a list or to have a rating removed. That includes delivery apps and readers who support us. Asking doesn’t work either, and neither does complaining about a fair review.
Please don’t send free food or offer a discount when you recognise us. If anything is ever comped, the review says so, and the spot stays off our Worth crossing town list.
Your listing
Fixing your facts
- Hours, address, phone, a closure: use Report an error at the bottom of your spot’s page. No account needed, and a person checks every one.
- OpenStreetMap listings: you can also correct them at openstreetmap.org, which fixes them for every map that uses it.
Diners’ ratings
About diners’ ratings
Diners rate spots separately from the crew, one rating per person, and we hold back ratings that look like fakes. We remove ratings that break our guidelines, and never one just because it’s negative. If you think a rating breaks them, use Report next to it.
Please don’t ask staff, friends or family to rate your spot. It breaks the guidelines and the law on fake reviews.
